Lenore Jones, 87, a lifelong resident of Lisbon, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Lisbon United Methodist Church, by Pastor Karen Nelson. Visitation: two hours prior to the service at church. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Lisbon Cemetery.
Lenore enjoyed wearing bright colors, so please join us in honoring her by wearing bright colors to her service.

She was born Sept. 1, 1930, to Rook and Helen (Rieger) Emerson. Lenore was a proud alumna of Lisbon High School and served as treasurer of the Lisbon Alumni Association for 40 years. She loved chocolate, cats, flowers, birds and reading; she was quiet but curious.
She is survived by her children, Steven (Jane) Jones of St. Joseph, Mo., Vicky (Rick) Jones Sader of Yakima, Wash., Kathryn (David) Edel of Onalaska, Wis., and Karen (David) Wise of Lisbon; grandchildren, Eric and Adam Jones, Andrew Sader, Ross and Claire Edel, Nicole Peters, Catherine (Johnny) Norwood, Marcia (Mike) Wilcox and Charles and Jeremy Wise; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Lenore was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Eugene.
At Lenore's request, in lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given to Camp Courageous, Lisbon United Methodist Church or the Lisbon Library.
