LELAND WINK
Cedar Rapids
Leland Ray Wink, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, June 30, 2014. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brosh Chapel.
Leland was born Nov. 16, 1948, in Anamosa, the son of Elmer and Irene (McVay) Wink. Leland proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Deb Schulte on Aug. 14, 1993, in Cedar Rapids. He worked at Seegers Truck & Trailer as a
mechanic. He enjoyed NASCAR, playing cards, bowling, Western movies and playing the lottery.
Leland is survived by his wife, Deb; children, Eric (Kelly) Wink of Marion, Jen Dietrich (Dale Hughes) of
Cedar Rapids and Brian (Valerie) Dietrich of Keystone; four grandchildren, Taylar, Tiffani, Kaitlin and Levi; and his brothers, Louis Wink of Anamosa,
Richard of Marion, Jerry (Ruth) and Tom Wink, both of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Fred.
