Leland Sprague, 86, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at First United Methodist Church, Independence. Burial: Edgewood Cemetery, Edgewood. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church in Independence.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Rizer Sprague of Winthrop; his daughter, Debbra (George "Fred") Smith of Winthrop; his son, Dennis (Patricia) Sprague of Independence; five grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
