Lee, Eunice M.
Eunice M. Lee, 75, of 396 Blue Reef Dr., Hiawatha, formerly of Waterloo, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church Faith and Life Center. The Rev. Perry Fruhling will officiate. Inurnment: 10 a.m. Thursday at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Robert; three children, Greg (Lisa), Jeff and Heather (Nick) Weissenberger; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and two daughters, Kimberly and Angela.
Eunice was born July 25, 1937, in Tripoli, the daughter of Fredrick and Ida Sauerbrei Nolting. She married Robert H. Lee on Jan. 27, 1957, in Waterloo.
She was a member of Eastern Star and a faithful member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church Faith and Life Center, where she belonged with the 50 Plus Group. She enjoyed bowling, baking, sewing and especially the time spent with her beloved family.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran Church Faith and Life Center.
