Ledvina, James Emil
James Emil Ledvina, 78, of Chelsea, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a sudden illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 1 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chelsea, with the Rev. Michael Mescher, celebrant, and Deacon Joe Behounek presiding. Burial will be in Stayskal Cemetery, rural Chelsea. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a Scripture service at 6:15 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Sharlene “Skip”; sons, Dean Ledvina of Chelsea, Charles Ledvina of Katy, Texas, and Kenneth (Marcia) of Avoca; and grandson, Daniel.
Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine is assisting the family.
