Leavitt, Myrl Eugene
Myrl Eugene Leavitt, 93, of Washington, Iowa, died Sunday, July 11, 2010, at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington, following a decline in health. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Washington. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington.

Myrl is survived by his wife, Birdie Leavitt of Washington; and two sons, Richard Leavitt and wife Susan of Lansing, Mich., and David Leavitt and wife Judith of Cedar Rapids.
