Lawrence Paul Dawson of Anamosa, Iowa, passed away peacefully in his home on Dec. 4, 2021.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Paul is survived by his wife, Debra; his sons, Anthony (Jessica) Dawson and Daniel (Sarah) Dawson; his daughter, Jennifer Kavouniaris; his three grandchildren,
Noah, Angela and Mikayla; his two great-granddaughters, Mariah and Lauran; three brothers; one sister; and his mother.
Paul was a veteran in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, where he served from 1969-1979 when he was honorably discharged.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude's Research Hospital at www.stjude.com.
