Lawrence, Donna Louise Dodge (Luedeman)

Donna Louise Dodge (Luedeman) Lawrence, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died at home on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013. Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Sean Hansen. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her son, Bruce (Marci) Luedeman of Central City; her daughters, Jo Kennedy of Cedar Rapids, Lynn (Mike) Orwig of Saginaw, Mich., and Darla (Richard) Kremenak of Buffalo, Mo.; sisters, Dixie German of Columbia, Mo., and Rita Marten of Altus, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Donna was born Nov. 4, 1927, in Charles City, Iowa, the daughter of George and Geneva (Higgenbottom) Dodge. Donna was a homemaker and valued time spent with her family. She was an avid bowler in a league for many years, enjoyed trying her luck at the casino, and tending to her cat, Winston. Donna also liked playing games on her computer and watching television.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ila McNulty; brother, Dwight Dodge; and her former husband, Gene Luedeman.
