Lawrence "Bud" Reading, formerly of Middletown, Conn., died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, following a stroke.
Bud was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on April 4, 1946. He spent his life in sales and in service to anyone in
need. Bud was a loving father, grandfather, a faithful friend and colleague, and a spiritual prayer warrior. He was a founder of the Men's Prayer Breakfast, a 36-year ministry at First Church of Christ, Wethersfield, Conn., and was beloved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly; her daughter, Skylar; and son, Daniel (Sarah) and children Vesper and Anchor. Eldest son, Anthony Reading (Tania) predeceased his father and leaves grandchildren Tatum, Tabitha, Talia, Tevia, TJ and Taggart.
