LaVonne was united in marriage to Charles J. "Chuck" Misfeldt on June 9, 1951, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Together, they built a nurturing home that was the heart of their family, where memories were made and love was shared. Throughout her life, LaVonne dedicated herself to being a devoted homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family and everyone who crossed her path.
LaVonne was the daughter of Clifford Robert Elliott and Kathryn Evelyn Hurley. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her husband Chuck, her daughter Susan, and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her two sons, Tim, along with his wife Denise of Cedar Rapids, and Tom, along with his wife Cathy of Palo. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Tim, Lindsey, Nichole, Jessica, Abbie, and Adam, as well as ten great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love extends beyond her immediate family, with numerous nieces and nephews in Wisconsin.

She possessed a warmth that drew people in, and it was clear to all who met her that they were in the presence of a true lady.
