LaVera "Vera" Wilhelmina Nielsen, 86, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Celebration of Life services will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, with burial to follow in the Lisbon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday. A time for food and fellowship will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time at The Avacentre at Brosh Chapel.
