Laura L. Fortin, 82, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Anamosa, died April 26, 2024, at Corridor Crossing place in Cedar Rapids. Private burial will take place at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Fortin Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are six sons, two daughters and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born November 10, 1941, in New Vienna, IA. She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed many hours in her craft room with family and friends making countless scrapbooks and homemade cards.
Memorial tributes to Laura’s memory may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
