Laue, Dakota Dean
Dakota Dean Laue, 17-day-old son of Matthew and Jolene Laue, of 388 Ben Dov Dr., Marion, went to join his great-grandmothers in Heaven on Thursday, March 8, 2012. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at New Beginnings Church, by Pastor Ron Connerly and Pastor Chris Richards. The family will greet friends on Monday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church, located at 910 Boyson Ct. in Hiawatha. (Go to www.newbeginchurch.com for directions.) Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his parents, Matthew and Jolene; his brothers, Corbin and Hunter; his doggy, Harley; grandparents, Dell and Carilyn Morse of Cedar Rapids, Steven Laue of New London, Jeanette Smith of Anamosa and Gale Smith of Dubuque; great-grandparents, Doug and Carol Keck of Catham, Ontario, Canada, Delbert and Judy Ann Morse of Burlington, Della Laue of Burlington and Robert Reinhardt of Tipton; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dakota was born Feb. 20, 2012, in Cedar Rapids. He was a member of the family of God at New Beginnings Church and Relevant Life Church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dakota's memory.
