Larson, Kenneth E.
Kenneth E. Larson of Waukon, formerly of Manchester and Delaware, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at Good Samaritan Center, Waukon, at the age of 96.
Kenneth was born July 28, 1915, in Delaware, Iowa, to Gustav and Olivia (Olson) Larson. He graduated from Manchester High School. Kenneth was married to Frances Hartford on Jan. 5, 1958.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Olivia (Dave) Bell; his son, Steve (Jodi) Larson all of Waukon; and his four grandsons, Drew (Christine Lloyd) Bell, Nick Bell, Marcus (Alyssa) Bell and Logan Larson.
He is also survived by his great-grandson, Mason Bell.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; infant daughter, Linda; his sisters, Olga, Emma, Ellen and Dorothy; and his brothers, Hans and Oscar.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, Manchester. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., with burial at Pineview Cemetery in Delaware.
Hanson Funeral Home in Waukon is in charge of arrangements.
