Larry William Belcher, 55, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa, with burial to follow at a later date at Oak Shade
Cemetery in Marion.
Larry was born on March 16, 1966, in Monrovia, Calif., the son of John Belcher and Marilyn (Blair) Belcher. He worked as
a welder and an electrical apprentice. Larry was always willing to help anyone, was loving and caring and an all-around handy man. His favorite time of year was Morel season. Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Marilyn Belcher; father, John (Catherine) Belcher; children, Charles Ricker, Cheyenne (Alec) Ihde and Shelby Belcher; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Belcher, Lorraine (Kevin) Moore and Jennifer (James) McKinney; brother, Jeff (Brandy) Nagel; several nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friend, Jolene Murray.
