Larry A. Waddell, 73, passed away April 28, 2015. Visitation will be at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, May 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service in Larry's honor will be Tuesday, May 5, at 1 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with a private family graveside service to follow.
There are many things Larry did when he was not working as a mechanic. Some of the hobbies were fishing, traveling, collecting trains, camping, Star Wars and hot rod cars.
Larry will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Many of Larry's survivors are his children, Larry (Annette) Waddell of Omaha, Neb., Terry Waddell of Cedar Rapids and Cherie (Kevin Hudson) Wheeler of Marion; and a brother, Fred (Nickie) Waddell of Marion. Grandchildren include Natasha (T.J), Aaron (Hailey), Hillary (Tim), Heather, Kayla, Philip, Tia, Troy, Ashley and Keegan; many great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor, Paxton, Kamryn, Baby Melvold, Austin, Devin and Shayden; and also many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Phylis; his stepfather, Duane Robison; and great-grandson, Shayden.
