LARRY ALLEN MCNEAL
Mesa, Ariz.
Larry Allen McNeal, 77, of Mesa, Ariz., died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, after a long illness.
Larry was born Nov. 2, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Glenn McNeal and Wilma (Cookie) Politis (stepfather, George Politis).
He is survived by his wife, Pat; sister, Nancy (Russ) Franck, and their daughter, Chelsea; son, Mike McNeal, his daughter, Brianna, and his fiancee, Pam Kopel, and her children, Anna and Ashley: daughter, Kelly (Tim) Buckley, and their children, Mckayla, Shae, Alicia, Tara and Bryce; daughter, Connie (Richard) Nielsen, and their children, Joshua, Amanda and Mikaela; and stepson, Dan Knox.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne McNeal.
Larry worked at Goss for 35 years before retiring in 2000.
He had a great sense of humor, telling jokes with his family and friends. He liked bowling, fishing, playing pool and golf. Larry and his wife, Pat, enjoyed spending time with friends and family at their cabin at Lake Delhi, Iowa. When they became full-time residents of Mesa, they continued to enjoy spending time with friends.
At his request, no funeral service will take place.
Memorial services will be at a later date in Mesa.
