Larry L. Freeman, 78, of Iowa City, died on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Iowa City, with Pastor Brent Hartwig officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at Lensing Funeral
& Cremation Service, Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Iowa City or Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
Larry is survived by his wife, Twyla; their four sons, William Freeman, Vince Freeman, Ryan Freeman and Jeremy Freeman; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Freeman and Melvin Freeman; and his sister, Carol Freeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Ruth (Tanner) Freeman; his father- and mother-in-law, Leonard and Irene (Ibis) Dubs; a brother, James Freeman; and a sister-in-law, Marlys Freeman.
