Larry J. Hurt, 78, of Mesquite, Nev., formerly of Anamosa, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in Mesquite.
Larry was born Aug. 11, 1938, in Anamosa, the son of Ted and Wilma Hurt. Larry loved golf and was the manager and golf pro at Fawn Creek Country Club in Anamosa before moving to Mesquite.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Diane, and his parents.
Larry is survived by his sons, Brian (Rosy) Hurt of Anamosa, Darren (Karen) Hurt of Newton and Patrick Hurt of Laughlin, Nev.; a sister, Dana; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private burial is planned.
