LARRY EUGENE GRIMM

Larry Eugene Grimm, 79, of Urbana, passed away surrounded by immediate family at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Judy Grimm; children, Debra Grimm (fiance, Tony) and Ray (Amy) Grimm; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Barbara Sherman and Merle (Georgene) Grimm.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Grimm; and son, James Grimm.
Larry was born on May 30, 1937, in Urbana, Iowa, the son of Merle and Laura (Palmer) Grimm. On June 20, 1966, Larry and Judy were united in marriage. He was an avid Hawkeye fan and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
