Larry K. “Fuzzy” Horton, 79, of Marion, died Saturday September 21, 2024, in Unity Point- St. Luke’s Hospital.
Surviving includes his children, Alisha Young (Brandon) of Marion, Iowa, Jennifer Horton (Shawn) of Marion, Iowa and Mike Horton of Las Vegas, Nevada, his sister Jean Close (David) of Denver, Colorado, his grandchildren Krissy, Bryton, Raelynn, and Reese, his niece Kellie and nephews Matt and Rob.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Kenneth Horton.
Larry was born October 6, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After graduating from Washington High
School, Larry became a member of the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. Larry lived life to the fullest and always had a story to share. He attended Woodstock ‘69, enjoyed playing cards, competitive bowling, loved football, and had a soft spot for muscle cars.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday October 6, 2024, from 11-3 p.m. at Morgan Creek
Park’s Shelter in Cedar Rapids. Cedar Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the
arrangements.
