Larry Edwards, 67, died Monday, March 23, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital. There will be no public service or visitation. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, JoLisa Edwards; children, Leah (T.J.) Shaffer, Lacey, Callie and Aaron Edwards; a sister, Lenora "Pug" Perez; and two granddaughters, Arabella and Adalynn Shaffer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mildred (Varner) Edwards; his son, Lonnie; two sisters; and a brother.
He was born on March 7, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended Kirkwood Community College, served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a police officer in Arkansas. On Sept. 29, 1999, he married JoLisa Wilson in Fort Smith, Ark.
He enjoyed fishing but his family always came first.
