Larry Dean Sumpter, age 69, of Solon, Iowa passed away on July 21, 2025, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Cedar Rapids, of multiple issues. He is survived by his spouse of 25 years, Deborah; two stepchildren, Jason Jenks and Tracy Jenks; three grandchildren, Savanna Jenks, Samantha Tuel and Stanley Speir III; two brothers-in-law, Robert Connelly and Ronald Connelly. Following Larry’s wishes he was cremated and there would be no service at this time.
