Larry D. Levsen, 76, passed away on March 31, 2022.
Larry grew up on a farm in Jones County, Iowa. He graduated from Olin Consolidated High School, University of Iowa (BS) and University of Southern California (MS). He was the son of Leo and Geraldine Levsen. Larry was an electrical/aeronautical engineer last working with Northrup Drummond. Larry's interest included Lionel trains, road trips, and his beloved dogs. Larry was a man of few words but could always be depended on by all who knew him.
Larry is survived by his wife, Connie Levsen; sister, Deanna Butterworth (David); sister-in-law, Deby Hart (John); and several nieces/nephews, Lisa Davis (Brian), Shannon Jamison (Jason), Kelly Cole (Logan), Melisa Hart, Scot Hart (Lauren) and Robert Sickler III (Cheryl).
The family requests those who wish to express their sympathy consider a donation to Jones Regional Medical Center Rhythm of Life, 1795 Hwy 64 East, Anamosa, IA 52205.
