Larry Joseph Chapman Sr., 71, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, in El Paso, Texas. Graveside services, will full military honors, have been set for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa, with the Rev. Jim Stiles officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. A general memorial has been established, in lieu of flowers.
Survivors include three children, Sue Ann Flaherty (Micheal) of Las Vegas, Larry Chapman Jr. (Mindy) of DeWitt and Angie Bodkin (Jake) of Washington; four stepchildren; brother, Richard Chapman (Judy) of Marion; 10 grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
