Larissa (Reese) Danette Caylor Albaugh, 51, of Marion, passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, after a long illness. Iowa Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born Aug. 7, 1963, in Newton, Iowa, to Rodger and Carolyn (Law) Caylor. She was married to Greg Albaugh on Sept. 17, 2010. Larissa was a director of the before and after school program for Kids Inc. at Westfield Elementary for several years. She loved singing and all the arts, including crafts and photography. She was a member of New Beginnings Church. She was a beautiful women full of love for the Lord, her family, her friends and was an example to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Greg; her daughter, Kalene Heaverlo; her son, Caylor Heaverlo; her stepchildren, Bryan, Tori, Taylor and Brady Albaugh; her mother, Carolyn Caylor; her brother, Duane (Nancy) Caylor of Dubuque; her sister, Lori (Scott) Milsom of Nevada, Iowa; her brother, Darden (Belinda) Caylor of St. Peters, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rodger Caylor; her grandparents, James and Hazel Caylor and Benjamin and Loraine Law; and a nephew.
A visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at New Beginnings Church, 910 Boyson Court, Hiawatha, where a service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24.
A memorial fund for the education of Larissa"s children has been established at New Beginnings Church.
