Langton, Suzanne M.
Suzanne M. Langton, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday evening, Nov. 19, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center. A private family visitation was held Saturday at Papich-Kuba Janeba Chapel West before Suzanne was cremated.
Survivors include four daughters, Pauline (Albert) Luerkens, Cedar Rapids, Clara (Dennis) Davis, Marquette, Mich., Patricia Capaccioli, Marion, and Robyn (Tim) Smith, Cedar Rapids; sister, Jane Hodges, California; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Suzanne was born Aug. 1, 1937, in Cedar Rapids to Melvin and Eunice (Smith) Langton and was a lifetime resident. She was a homemaker and loved to play bingo. In her younger days Suzanne was a wonderful dancer and loved to go to Danceland.
Suzanne was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
