Landherr, Mary E.
Mary E. Landherr, 95, of Marion, died Monday, April 15, 2013. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, where visitation will start at noon. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Rev. David Miller from Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include a son, Morris Hollowell of Jacksonville, Fla.; a stepson, Ed Duda of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Sheryl, Gary, Steve, Lisa, Kevin, Diane and Terilynn; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren living all over the United States.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Sylvester Hollowell, George Landherr and Edward Duda; a daughter, Annette Schneider; and her siblings.
Mary was born Jan. 4, 1918, the daughter of John and Alma (Cole) Lowry. She married Sylvester Hollowell and later divorced. She then married George Landherr, who preceded her in death, and then to Ed Duda. She was an electrical engineer for McDonell-Douglas and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
She enjoyed crafting, traveling and her pet birds.
