Lana K. Hinman, 66, of Oxford, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017. A service celebrating Lana's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Oxford United Methodist Church, where a potluck will immediately follow.
Lana was born July 22, 1951, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Lloyd and Marge Kumm. She worked for many years at Rockwell Collins in Coralville, and married Jack D. Jessup on April 23, 1989, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Her family includes her husband, Jack; mother, Marge Kumm; siblings, David Kumm and Linda Henshaw; as well as numerous extended family members.
Lana was preceded in death by her father; sister, Brenda Middelton; as well as Jack's parents.
In death, Lana was able to help others through her gift of donation with the Iowa Lions Eye Bank.
