Lamphere, Gerald V. 'Jerry'
Gerald V. “Jerry” Lamphere, 77, of Randalia, died Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 16, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein, with the Rev. Jim Brokman officiating. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, where a parish Scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Interment: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Hazleton.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Grace Lamphere of Randalia; six children, Thomas (Dawn) Lamphere of Maynard, Kevin (Gina) Lamphere of Hazleton, Mark Lamphere of Randalia, Byron (Tabatha Roneker) Lamphere of Maynard, Greg (Carol) Lamphere of Rogers, Minn., and Kristin (Dwayne Harris) Lamphere of Omaha, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Betty (Dean) Teuscher of Milton, Wis., and Karen (Paul Ganske) Rohrig of Oelwein; and a brother, Verdell Lamphere of Aurora.
