Lalley, Patricia Ann Rieger
Patricia Ann Rieger Lalley, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Northbrook Manor Care Center following a long illness. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A vigil service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Teahen Funeral Home, where friends may visit with the family from 4 until 7 p.m. Friends may also visit with the family after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Patricia is survived by two sons, Joseph (Kathy) Lalley and Stephen (JoAnn Greenwood) Rieger of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Regina Huggins of Oelwein and Mary Mason of Nova Scotia, Canada; and brother, Nicholas Rieger of Rhome, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat (1993); parents, Edward and Donna Rieger; sister, Harriet Feldmann; and granddaughter, Jacqui Rieger.
Patricia Ann was born in Cedar Falls on May 17, 1928. Patricia married Paul Patrick “Pat” Lalley on Feb. 27, 1948, in Indianola. She retired from Rockwell Collins as a data analyst after 27 1/2 years. She was a longtime member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. Patricia enjoyed music, mountains, cooking, and genealogy.
