LaDonna "LD" Harford, 68, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Crema-tion Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Delbert; children, Del Harford, Chad (Page) Harford and Julie (Brent) Thompson, all of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, JaLisa Sykes, Zack Harford, Sam Thompson, Kyle Harford, Lindsay Thompson, Daryn Harford, Meghan Leeper and Chase Leeper; four great-grandchildren, Drake, Kinley, Kiera and Sophie; brother, Dale Bowman of Cedar Rapids; best friend, Dottie (Dale) Klees of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws, John and Donna Harford.
LaDonna was born March 2, 1947, the daughter of Thomas and Effie Mae Bowman, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On Aug. 13, 1966, she was united in marriage to Delbert Harford in Cedar Rapids. LaDonna started working at Rockwell and then at Norand/Intermec, where she worked for 38 years.
LaDonna enjoyed gardening, bowling, gambling and loved to play softball. Her greatest love was being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved unconditionally.
