Labkon, Anita J.
Anita J. Labkon, 68, of Cedar Rapids, died at home Friday, Dec. 8, 2012. Per Anita's wishes, there will be no services. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Anita is survived by her sons, Warren “Andy” Cusic of Junction, Ill. and Ed Oldham of Montana; special friend, Will Swarts; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Anita was born March 10, 1944, in Gallatin County, Ill., to William and Helen Carmen. She was a true Renaissance woman. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and a guidance counselor for veterans. She also was an active member of the Democratic Party of Linn County.
