L. Charles (Chuck)
DeMoss, 61, of Fulton, Texas, formerly of Earlville, Iowa, and Everett, Wash., died Sept. 21, 2017, at his home after a short battle with melanoma. A celebration of life for
Chuck will be held at a later date.
He was born Feb. 16, 1956, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Viola Budan and Kenneth DeMoss. He attended school
at St. Joseph's in Earlville and Maquoketa Valley High School in Delhi. On Nov. 23, 1979, he married Jane Moenk in Hopkinton.
His father, Kenneth DeMoss, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; two sons, Corey (Stefanie) DeMoss of Dyersville and Kenneth Aaron DeMoss of Everett, Wash.; one stepson, Casey Kremer of Everett, Wash.; two grandchildren, Emma Jean and Dylan Lee DeMoss of Dyersville; his mother, Viola DeMoss of Earlville; three sisters, Linda (Jim) Ramler of Davenport, Lana (Bill) Sorrell of Sinton, Texas, and Lila DeMoss of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; and two brothers, Lon (Jean) DeMoss of Independence and L. David (Sandra) DeMoss of Manchester; plus several nieces and nephews.
A Chuck DeMoss Memorial Fund has been established.
Memorials may be directed to family members.
