Kyle Eugene Stanfield, 43, of Cedar Rapids passed away suddenly Jan. 1, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Grace Community Church in North Liberty. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at the church. Burial will be at Memory Gardens following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Stanfield Children's Education Fund.
Kyle was born in Iowa City on March 21, 1974 to Larry and Norma (Schmitz) Stanfield. He was a great athlete, being involved in baseball, football and basketball in high school, and graduated from Iowa City West High School.
Kyle is survived by his children, Tyler and Connor; significant other, Jennifer Horn; parents, Larry and Norma Stanfield; siblings, Kimberly (Jody) Chalupa, Kameron Stanfield (Kelly Mohlis), Kurtis Stanfield (Bethany Brink) and Tami Smith; and former spouse Jenny Breuer. He was the best uncle to many nieces and nephews and will be missed by many.
