Kurtis Dean Kalina, 67, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 20, 2025. A Visitation will be held Monday, January 27, 2025, from 9-11 AM. at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include: His wife, Janie Kalina, and 10 Children: Lydia (Doug) Molitor, Joanna (Adolfo) Murillo, Joe (Jade) Kalina, David (Courtney) Kalina, Stephen (Whitney) Kalina, Paula (Sam) Sauer, Lucas (Kirsten) Kalina, Nicole (Donnie) Wetterling, Rebekah
(DeLoss) Rappleye, and Philip Kalina. His grandchildren include Charlie, Clara, & Chloe Molitor, Shoney & Skye Murillo, Landon & Lily Kalina, Finley Kalina, Dean Kalina, and Makaiah Kalina. His siblings include Steve (Alison) Kalina, Lisa (Doug) Hill, Holli (John) Short, and Heidi (Ed) Short.
His father and mother preceded him in death.
