Kuennen, Luke
Luke Kuennen, 78, died Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at the New Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center after a lengthy illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Festina. Burial: Festina Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Parish Center in Festina, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. and rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Kuennen (Jim Massman) of New Hampton, Mary (Dean) Pawlicki of Doylestown, Ohio and Karen (Dennis) Kleve of Calmar; four sons, Larry (Peggy) Kuennen, Tom (Cindy) Kuennen and Brian Kuennen, all of Cedar Rapids, and Pat (Rhonda) Kuennen of Mantorville, Minn.; five brothers, Norbert (Delores) Kuennen and Martin (Carol) Kuennen, both of St. Lucas, Neil (Irma) Kuennen and Gregory (Rosemary) Kuennen, both of Waucoma, and Henry (Arlene) Kuennen of Cresco; five sisters, Mary Ann (Jim) Kuhn of Lime Springs, Helen (Fred) Williams of Mabel, Minn., Margaret (Gerald) Kuennen of St. Lucas, Laura Lukes of Protivin and Kathleen (Dennis) Russler of Minneapolis; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin in 1966; his parents and two brothers.
