Kuehl, Margaret 'Peggy'
Margaret “Peggy” Kuehl, 85, passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, in Amarillo, Texas, following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Kuehl was born Dec. 1, 1923, in Dumfries, Scotland. In the 1950s, she moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she lived most of her life before moving to Amarillo, Texas, to be closer to family.
Survivors include her son, Stu Lake and his wife, Cathi, of Amarillo; her daughter, Ann Beach and her husband, Don, of Mount Prospect, Ill.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service and burial will be held later at United Cemeteries near Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada.
