Kucera, Genevieve Miriam
Genevieve Miriam Kucera, 97, of Toledo, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012, at Carrington Place of Toledo, under the care of Iowa River Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama, with Father Michael Mescher as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in rural Clutier. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with a vigil service at 7 p.m.
Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Philip, Anthony, Joseph and Frank Kucera; three sisters, Anna Hlas, Mary Kucera and Frances Wobeter; and nine nieces and nephews.
Survivors include 32 nieces and nephews, 113 great-nieces and nephews, and many great-great-nieces and nephews.
