Kruger, Burton Fred
Burton Fred Kruger, 81, of Edgewood, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Edgewood, with Pastor Mike Jackson officiating. Interment: Edgewood Cemetery, with military rites by Edgewood American Legion Post 512. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood and one hour before services Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Kruger of Edgewood; two children, Linda (Gary) Lake of Delhi and Lonnie (Karen) Kruger of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Terri (Eric) Hogan of Ankeny, Tammi (Jim) Horak of Riverside, Tina (Rob) Schwendinger of Epworth, Traci Lake of Cedar Falls, Jennifer Kruger of Cedar Rapids, Jessica (Tony Overman) Kruger of Manchester and Jill (Matt) Henderson of Cedar Rapids; seven great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Terry (Wendy) Armstrong of Central City and Gary (Ann) Armstrong of Elkader; five stepgrandchildren, Michael (Alisha) Armstrong of Cedar Rapids, Zachary (Amelia) Armstrong of Platteville, Wis., Bill Armstrong, Andrew (Kara) Armstrong and Chelsea Armstrong all of Elkader; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Burt was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna; and his parents.
