Kruckenberg, Alma M.
Alma M. Kruckenberg, 93, of Lowden, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at the Wheatland Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowden, by the Rev. Victor Young. Burial: church cemetery. Visitation: from 9:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church. Arrangements with Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy (Ralph) Gade of Wheatland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, William Brockmeyer Jr.; and sister, Arlene Brewer.
Born Aug. 6, 1917, in rural Lowden, the daughter of William and Alvina (Burmeister) Brockmeyer Sr., she married Arthur Kruckenberg on Nov. 16, 1941, in Lowden. He died May 20, 1989. Alma and her sisters operated the Trio Cafe in Lowden for many years.
