Kropf, Collin Ray
Collin Ray Kropf, 64, of Coatesville, Ind., formerly of Amber, died July 7, 2010, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis from a battle with leukemia. No services are planned.
Survivors include his wife, Janine; his father, Merle of Las Vegas; son, Kevin (Roxanne) of Coggon; grandsons, Brandon and Tyler; daughter, Kelly (Frank) McCurdy of Plainfield, Ind.; grandaughters, Audriana and Kimberly; and sister, Kathi (Larry) Watts of Ames.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia “Ginny” Kropf.
Collin served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1968 during the Vietnam War. On July 10, 1970, he married Janine Muller in Ames. They resided there before moving to Amber for 21 years and then moved to Camby and most recently Coatesville, Ind. Collin enjoyed fishing, gardening and puttering in his wood shop. He adored his family greatly.
A memorial has been established in Collin's name.
The family would like to thank St. Vincent's Hospital Cancer floor and Intensive Care Unit for their care and support over the last six months.
