Kron, Leona M.
Leona M. Kron, 93, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at Mercy Hospice. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at St. Mary's Church in Iowa City. Burial will be at St. Vincent's Cemetery in Riverside. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City, where a rosary will be recited at 5 p.m.
Leona is survived by six children, Jeanne, Patricia, Marcia, Carole, Julie and Ted.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Regina Foundation or to Susan G. Komen for Breast Cancer Research.
