Kristy M. Henderson, 43, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Central City, passed away in her home Jan. 18, 2021.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Marco Garcia; her mother, Selina Huckins; two brothers, Brad (Donna) Coblentz and Tony Brandt; her uncle, Tim (Tanya) Coblentz; and two nephews. Other family members mourning her life taken too soon include her sister, Nicole Gruber; grandfather, Merle Henderson; and a very large, loving extended family.
Kristy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Danny and Joyce Coblentz; paternal grandmother, Verla Henderson; and uncle, David Coblentz.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at the Central City American Legion (masks will be required).
