Kristopher J. Stallman, 33, of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Memorial services in celebration of his life will be at noon Saturday, July 30, at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. His family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kristopher's memory to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, First Lego League and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Kristopher was born Jan. 21, 1983, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Randy and Diane (Uthoff) Stallman. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids in 2001 and Loras College in Dubuque in 2005. He began his career at John Deere in 2003.
Kristopher loved the Iowa Hawkeyes, his German and Czech heritage, traveling, craft beers and all things Seattle. He had a witty sense of humor and fun-loving personality and fiercely loved his Duhawk, John Deere and JFK friends. His infectious personality, his quiet calm and reason, his heart to help others and his steadfast loyalty to his family and friends will be missed.
Survivors include his father, Randy and wife Rhonda; Rhonda's children, Stacie (Julio), Jennifer (Matt) and Curt (Tasha); his longtime love and friend, Amber, and her family, Tom, Teresa, Brock (Kerri) and Brant Gille; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane; grandmother, Barb (Babi) Uthoff; grandfather, William Uthoff; and his beloved dog, Buddy.
