Kristine R. Bell, 46, of Marion, Iowa, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Family will greet friends and family from 4 to

7 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion. A funeral service

will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, at St.

Paul's Lutheran Church in Marion, conducted by the Rev. Andrew Noble. Burial will follow at Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Kristine was born on July 7, 1975, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Terry and Connie (Behrens) Bright. She was a 1994 graduate of Marion High School and went on to obtain her associates arts degree in business from Kirkwood Community College. Kristine was united in marriage to Jeff Bell in 2003. She worked at Aegon, Weland Laboratories and Internists PC.

Kristine is survived by her husband, Jeff; daughter, Samantha; parents, Terry and Connie Bright; brother, Justin (Lisa) Bright and niece, Preslie of Waunakee, Wis.; brother-in-law, Kevin Bell and nephew, Lachlan; and in-laws, Gene Bell (Linda) of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; two infant sons, Ethan and Logan; mother-in-law; uncles; and cousins, Jill and Karin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kristine's memory may be made to either Empty Arms at St. Luke's Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice.
