Kristen Belle MacFarlane, 46, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept 14, 2016, due to complications of diabetes.
Kristen is survived by her daughter, Savanna Snead; mother, Lois MacFarlane; sisters, Cheryl Foley (Brett) and Heather Johnson (Bill); nieces and nephews, Ryan Garringer (Kyle) and Leah, Alex, Ben,
Jenna and Ryan Foley; aunts, Mary Kivisto and Jan Carlson; and uncle, Norman MacFarlane (Linda).
Kristen was preceded in death by her father, Ian MacFarlane; and brother, Eric MacFarlane.
Kristen was very proud of her beautiful daughter, Savanna. She loved caring for her patients as an RN. She enjoyed baking and was famous for her cupcakes. Kristen was an animal lover, leaving behind her beloved cat, Lily. Kristen was free-spirited, witty and will be missed by many.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
