Kramer, Clay M.
Clay M. Kramer, 31, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Waukon, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 15, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a stroke. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church, with Pastor Ken Kimball officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, both in rural Waukon. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon and an hour before services on Thursday at the church.
A memorial fund in Clay's memory has been established to benefit several charities to be determined at a later date.
Clay was currently a student at Kirkwood Community College, studying computer information systems. He also worked at Hardees Restaurant in Cedar Rapids and Whirlpool.
Survivors include his parents, Mike and Becky Kramer, and a brother, Will Kramer, all of Waukon; and his paternal grandmother, Rozella Kramer of Waterloo.
