Kory Klatt, 47, of Marion, was called to Heaven on Jan. 24, 2021.
He was born March 24, 1973, to Herbert Klatt and Penny (Harlen) Klatt. He was a 1991 Linn-Mar graduate.
Kory's greatest joys in life were his children. He also loved music, sports, movies and being in nature. Kory was very passionate with a fiery spirit. He was hilarious and could make you laugh endlessly. His soul ran deeper than anyone could comprehend. He had the biggest heart, full of kindness and compassion. Kory was happiest when giving to others and loved long, deep, meaningful conversations and connections. Kory never judged a book by its cover.
Kory is survived by his children, Marcus Klatt, Cassidy Klatt, Hailey Klatt and their brother; his godson, Jace Watson; his father, Herbert Klatt; and sister, Shannon (Klatt) Van Deman.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlotte Klatt; and his mother, Penny (Harlen) Klatt.
A private visitation was held for his children and a private Celebration of Life with family will be held at later date.
