Kohl, Ned H.
Ned H. Kohl, 63, of 404 Jacolyn Dr. SW, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at his home. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivor include a brother, V. Dave (Iole) of Louisville, Ky.; and three nephews, Blaine, Jason and David.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Dan.
Ned was born Dec. 12, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Vernon and Maxine (Davis) Kohl. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1966 and attended both Coe College and the University of Iowa. Ned was an activities director for several years at local nursing homes.
He enjoyed reading, fishing, classical music and the time he spent with his beloved family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Cedar Rapids Public Library Foundation.
